tangram-blanket-3

A travel Tangram set I bought my son for Christmas was the inspiration for this pattern.  Starting and ending with one stitch, the blanket is worked in garter stitch and in 1 piece – so no sewing up at the end of this project.

The pattern is written for a toddler size blanket (88cm x 88cm) with easy resizing instructions to make anything from a dishcloth to a king sized bed size. The pattern contains links to video tutorials covering the techniques used to make this blanket so that even a beginner knitter can make this beautiful blanket.

Yarn used: 8 hanks of Marta’s Yarns Retro (Wool blend) (140m/100gm hank) (153 yrds/3.53 ounces) 8 hanks. Approx. equivalent to a bulky weight 12ply.

Needles used: 60cm and 120cm circular 5.5mm (US 9) knitting needles.

I also have a limited number of yarn kits available for this pattern if you want to knit this design in the same yarn. Kit includes yarn, colour printed pattern and pdf version of pattern with links to video tutorials.

AU$5.00 (Instant PDF download via Ravelry shopping cart).

You will receive a link to download the pattern file as soon as payment is processed.

If you have a Ravelry account the pattern will be available in your Ravlery library and you will automatically receive updates or errata for this pattern.
